Cinnaminson is a township in the northwestern section of Burlington County, New Jersey. Prior to 1860, this area was part of the historical Chester Township. Cinnaminson broke off from Chester in 1860. In the following decades, Cinnaminson further broke apart, giving rise to Palmyra, Riverton, Delran, and Riverside.
Researchers of slavery in Cinnaminson may also want to review records filed under Chester Township, since that was the main administrative entity for this area during the slavery era. - Locality
