- Biographical Description
- Somerset County birth records of enslaved children contain a birth certificate for Aaron, son of Peg, born on 1 Jan 1805, enslaved by Hendrick Suydam. Although Aaron's birth certificate did not list the township, it can be inferred that he was probably born in Bridgewater because other historical records for his enslaver indicate that he was a resident of Bridgewater.
