- Biographical Description
- Pompey was a Black man who lived in New Brunswick, New Jersey, in the early 19th century. His wife Sabina was enslaved by Mary Lupp. He is recorded as the father of Sabina's three children. A last name was not recorded for Pompey, and it appears likely that he was also enslaved by Mary Lupp.
