- Biographical Description
- Somerset County birth records of enslaved children contain a birth certificate for George, son of Jenny and Tom, born on 6 November 1809, enslaved by John Frelinghuysen. George's enslaver was living at the old Frelinghuysen homestead in Millstone at the time of his birth, but around 1810, he moved back to his main property in Bridgewater, now known as the historic General John Frelinghuysen House (in the present-day borough of Raritan). Presumably, George and his family moved to that house with Frelinghuysen.
