- Simon Wilmer was an enslaver who lived in Swedesboro, within the township of Woolwich, Gloucester County, in the early 19th century. A manumission document he filed in 1820 identified him as the "Rector of the Swedish Lutheran Church at Swedesborough." This refers to the institution now known as Trinity Episcopal "Old Swedes" Church. He was the rector of the church from 1808 to 1820.
