- Joseph W. Hageman was an enslaver who resided in New Jersey, in the early 19th century. He was a physician. Archival documents from 1812 list his residence as "Princeton in the township of West Windsor and county of Middlesex." He moved with his family to Ohio in 1812, taking with him three enslaved children named Anthony, Bob, and Mary.
