Richard Runyon (1760-1831) was an enslaver who resided in Piscataway, NJ. He was a farmer.
A birth certificate for an enslaved child filed with the Middlesex County Clerk in 1829, when Runyon was 69, suggests that he was no longer considered to be of sound mind at that time, and a guardian had been appointed to take care of his affairs. The document stated that Runyon was "at present a lunatic" and Gershom Dunn was his guardian. - Keywords
