Ten Dollars Reward.
RANAWAY from the Subscriber, living in Readington, Hunterdon county, state of New Jersey on Saturday night, 16th inst. a NEGRO BOY, named Peter, of a yellow complexion, about 5 feet 5 or six inches high, he has a scar on the inside of one of his wrists; he had on when he went away a dark blue coattee with white lining and pockets in the inside and the collar and cuffs of a newer cloth, a black wool hat nearly new, new tow trousers, and a pair of good shoes; he is rather slow and not as attentive as some of the colour are; he will not speak the truth at all times. Whoever will take up the said Negro Boy, and secure him in any gaol so that his master may obtain him again shall have the above reward, and all reasonable charges if brought home.
N.B. All persons are forbid to harbor him and masters of vessels to carry him off at their peril.
