Description
Pomona Hall is a colonial mansion built by Joseph Cooper Jr. in 1726. It was expanded and preserved by subsequent generations of the Cooper family. It is located at 1900 Park Boulevard and Euclid Avenue in Camden, New Jersey. The area was known as Newton Township when the house was first built.

Pomona Hall now houses the Camden County Historical Society and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Researchers at the Camden County Historical Society have documented several generations of slaveholding at Pomona Hall, starting with the first owner of the house, Joseph Cooper Jr., and continuing through the 1790s. At least seventeen individuals were held in slavery at Pomona Hall throughout that time period.
