William Tindall Jr. (1784–1877) was a resident of West Windsor, NJ. He was the son of William Tindall (1745-1816) and Mary Cubberley Tindall.
His father had been a Justice of the Peace for the county for many years. After his father's death in 1816, he also became a Justice of the Peace. County court records signed by William Tindall after 1816 are attributed to the Junior (he did not typically write "Jr" after his name in these documents). In his capacity as Justice of the Peace, he issued manumission certificates for residents of West Windsor whose enslavers agreed to set them free.

He is not to be confused with his cousin of nearly the same age named William I. Tindall (1782-1859) [Identifier: NJS-PER-01353]. - Keywords
