- Description
- Note that the date of submission date written at the bottom of the advertisement says January 2, 1802, but this is presumed to be a typographical error, and most likely should be January 12. The events described took place on "2d or 3d" of January, and the ad was certainly written by the subscriber after January 3. The ad first appeared in the January 12, 1802, issue of the Centinel of Freedom.
